HOW TO COOK SHRIMP WITH SQUASH IN COCONUT MILK
Optional Ingredients: Malunggay (horseradish) and Bagoong Alamang (shrimp paste).
🔹 Add cooking oil to the pan.
🔹 Sauté the onions and garlic.
🔹 Add the shrimps to incorporate the flavor. (After a minute, remove the shrimps.)
🔹 Pour the coconut milk into the pan. Put on the lid and wait until it simmer.
(Optional: Place a spoonful of shrimp paste)
🔹 Add the squash and let it simmer again for a minute or two.
🔹 Place the shrimps back into the pan followed by the string beans.
(Optional: Add the horseradish)
🔹 Add salt and pepper to taste.
🔹 Bring to a boil until the squash is all soft and beans turned into pale green.
Best served with a hot bowl of steamed rice.
