HOW TO COOK SHRIMP WITH SQUASH IN COCONUT MILK

INGREDIENTS:

Optional Ingredients: Malunggay (horseradish) and Bagoong Alamang (shrimp paste).

PROCEDURES:

๐Ÿ”น Add cooking oil to the pan.

๐Ÿ”นย  Sautรฉ the onions and garlic.

๐Ÿ”น Add the shrimps to incorporate the flavor. (After a minute, remove the shrimps.)

๐Ÿ”น Pour the coconut milk into the pan. Put on the lid and wait until it simmer.

(Optional: Place a spoonful of shrimp paste)

๐Ÿ”น Add the squash and let it simmer again for a minute or two.

๐Ÿ”น Place the shrimps back into the pan followed by the string beans.

(Optional: Add the horseradish)

๐Ÿ”น Add salt and pepper to taste.

๐Ÿ”น Bring to a boil until the squash is all soft and beans turned into pale green.

Best served with a hot bowl of steamed rice.
