Beauty Review: Guerlain Météorites Baby Glow Foundation

About the Foundation straight from Guerlain:

With Météorites Baby Glow, for the first time, light becomes liquid… subtle, silky, impalpable. With a unique alchemy that combines technology with a touch of magic, this liquid light glides onto the skin as a luminous, perfecting veil that erases signs of fatigue and reveals the youth and natural glow of the complexion. The skin looks rested, smooth and replenished – as beautiful and fresh as a baby’s skin. Like an infusion of moisture, the ethereal and delightfully aqueous texture of Météorites Baby Glow makes it glide effortlessly onto the skin, suffusing it with a long-lasting sensation of comfort. With this hydrating burst of freshness, the skin relaxes and appears refreshed, invigorated, plump and radiant.

  • silky, luminous formula restores skin’s radiance
  • minimizes signs of fatigue
  • plumps the appearance of skin
  • evens skin tone without thickness

I am currently using the middle shade called “Medium”.

🔸 Price 🔸

₱ 2,900.00 for 30ml

🔸 Packaging

The packaging looks girly in light pink. I love how their emblem was placed on the lid. It has a pump that’s why the tube feels so weighty.

🔸 Fragrance 🔸

It has a relatively strong fragrant same with their powder (Guerlain Meteorites powder). Sweet but not perfume-like.

  • comes with a pump
  • SPF 25
  • even outs skin tone
  • blurs the skin
  • good for dry to combination skin
  • light weight
  • no breakout problems
  • Paraben free
  • easily blendable

  • not a ton of color option for shades
  • goes only from light to medium skin tone
  • light coverage
  • still needs concealer for imperfections

#BeautyByYou: DIY Blotting Paper

Blotting Papers started out with Japanese women hundreds of years ago. It is one of the most effective beauty product that will help you eliminate oily skin without ruining your makeup. It is compact and handy. These papers can be easily carried out anywhere you go. However, since not all of us can afford them, I have here a DIY that we can use to have blotting papers for less.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • tissue papers / coffee filters
  • scissors
  • storage container

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Flatten out the sheets to have wrinkle-free blotting papers. It is best if you place them under a heavy book for a day or so.
  • Afterwards, cut your paper into sheets. If you have a storage container, make sure that the sheets are smaller than the container. You can use a ruler to measure each sheets uniformly. You can also turn them into cute shapes like a star, cloud or even hearts.
  • Lastly, arrange the sheets properly and make sure you put them inside a dry container.

2015 Bucket list (Quick Post)

If I could just buy them all in a day, that would be perfect. Eyeing on to these babies until Dec. Must work hard-er!! 💪👯
Saw a pre-loved version of the MK watch few days ago and it’s still at 14k. Like seriously?? Hahaha. Should I sell my kidneys just to have one? 😂 insane!
And during my backpacker days, I am obsessed with North face bags because I was convinced that it was a definite go to when you’re on a hike and wanted to bring your house with you. But then a former classmate of mine introduced Herschel.  It’s what I’ve been wanting ever since though my budget hates it. Lalala. ✌
As for the shoes, I already have a pair of Dr. Martens, would it be too much to crave for another? 👢💕
Lastly, Frend. I just want to have it. It’s been on my list since 2014. 🎧🎶 It’s like my long lost soulmate

Until next time,
