Beauty Review: Guerlain Météorites Baby Glow Foundation

About the Foundation straight from Guerlain:

With Météorites Baby Glow, for the first time, light becomes liquid… subtle, silky, impalpable. With a unique alchemy that combines technology with a touch of magic, this liquid light glides onto the skin as a luminous, perfecting veil that erases signs of fatigue and reveals the youth and natural glow of the complexion. The skin looks rested, smooth and replenished – as beautiful and fresh as a baby’s skin. Like an infusion of moisture, the ethereal and delightfully aqueous texture of Météorites Baby Glow makes it glide effortlessly onto the skin, suffusing it with a long-lasting sensation of comfort. With this hydrating burst of freshness, the skin relaxes and appears refreshed, invigorated, plump and radiant.

  • silky, luminous formula restores skin’s radiance
  • minimizes signs of fatigue
  • plumps the appearance of skin
  • evens skin tone without thickness

I am currently using the middle shade called “Medium”.

🔸 Price 🔸

₱ 2,900.00 for 30ml

🔸 Packaging

The packaging looks girly in light pink. I love how their emblem was placed on the lid. It has a pump that’s why the tube feels so weighty.

🔸 Fragrance 🔸

It has a relatively strong fragrant same with their powder (Guerlain Meteorites powder). Sweet but not perfume-like.

  • comes with a pump
  • SPF 25
  • even outs skin tone
  • blurs the skin
  • good for dry to combination skin
  • light weight
  • no breakout problems
  • Paraben free
  • easily blendable

  • not a ton of color option for shades
  • goes only from light to medium skin tone
  • light coverage
  • still needs concealer for imperfections

Beauty Review: Bobbi & Katie Palette by Bobbi Brown

This journal-inspired palette is the result of a collaboration between Bobbi Brown and Katie Holmes. Released last 2013, their goal is to create the ultimate makeup line for modern day women that is tailored to serve as the essential, everyday makeup kit.

  • Compact and on- the-go
  • Easy organization
  • Wearable shades

  • Pink Chiffon (w/ shimmer) – medium pink
  • Brown Sugar (w/ shimmer) – brown mauve
  • Pink Quartz (no shimmer) – warm champagne pink
  • Ballet (w/ shimmer) – light pink with glitter
  • Cream (no shimmer) – beige
  • Antique Rose (no shimmer) – rosy brown
  • Stone (no shimmer) – beige brown
  • Black Cocoa (w/ shimmer) – dark rich brown.

  • Pretty Powerful – medium pink
  • Raspberry – deep pink

  • Chocolate – dark brown.

🔸 Price 🔸

$68 (3400php)

🔸 Packaging 🔸

  • Book cover design in black and pink (inspired by Katie Holmes’ Journal)
  • Sturdy not heavy
  • Huge mirror is a major plus +++

🔸 Eyeshadows 🔸

  • Mixture of matte, shimmer and sparkles

  • The eye-shadow shades compliment all skin tones
  • Can create day to night looks.
  • Space saving
  • Can fit in purse

  • Too much glitter
  • Matte shades are chalky
  • With fall-outs
  • Pot rouges are both in pink. They should’ve put one dark (for night time look) or a neutral color (for an MLBB look).
  • Eyeliner smears easily.

Below is the look I created using the B&K palette. I used Brown Sugar, Cream and Stone on my lids, Raspberry on my lips and Black Cocoa for my contour.

Fitbit Charge HR

Wearable fitness trackers are very in demand nowadays. From clip-ons to bracelets to watches, everyone who’s into getting lean and healthy is now part of the hype. As the demands rise, many companies compete with each other to prove who’s the best. One of them is Fitbit.
I’ve been a Fitbit user since 2014. It started out with the Zip, One and Flex but one which stands out for me was my Charge HR.
Package includes:
  • tracker, warranty and manual, charging cable, dongle

Charging Cable and Dongle
